Myofascial Release Therapy is a therapeutic treatment
utilizing a gentle form of stretching producing a profound
healing effect upon the body tissues (especially fascia),
decreasing pain and restoring motion. Typically, myofascial
release therapy includes a 1 hour hands-on treatment
session, utilizing a multitude of myofascial release
techniques and movement therapy. Myofascial release
therapists are trained to evaluate the "whole person"
so that they may effectively treat the source of the
problem, not just the symptoms.
